Filters Not Working with Page template

I am using product layouts with WPbakery to create page templates for each category of my shop

I am using another product filter plugin from xforwoocomerce. When I select a filter option the page doesn’t change to show me the filtered products but it does tells me in the filter menu how many options there are.

I am using build query in the templates, will this make a difference as there are 10-12 category pages and I need each one to show just the products for that category not all the products from the shop.
