configuring plugin

I’m fairly new to php and i was confused with the instructions to set up a template page to over ride the woocommerce single page settings.

<i> Create and builder a “page” with Visual Composer to apply for single product</i>

<i>- Go to edit/create product or edit/create product category select a page use in detail product</i>

<i>- Override plugin template by copying file “wp-content/plugins/dhvc-woocommerce-page/templates/content-single-product.php” paste to yourtheme/dhvc-woocommerce-page/content-single-product.php</i>

 

These were the instructions i got with the plugin and I’ve tried this but had no luck. Can someone please explain a little more clearly how i am meant to set this up for my single product pages?

I’ve already done step one, now I’m just stuck on 2 and 3.
