Dear, you want use Heading with background in all page ? if you want do it, you need add custom code in the theme because the theme only use setting heading background in page.

Dear, you can not view Custom Template in front-end, it’ll give error ( like your problem ). After assign Custom Template for a product, please view Product in front-end, you will see Product display will short code in Custom Template.
