Registration to ACF question

Hi,

Is there a way via WordPress registration to post to additional fields, for example new ones created using ACF

I’ve a form which is a set of tick boxes (called categories) and I’d like to save those choices in the USER table of WordPress.

I can’t see how DHVC can do this, any guidance would be appreciated.
