How to get the true italics of Lora font?

Hi. I’m using Lora font from the available fonts list.

But when I select italic text for headlines or body, it isn’t giving the same italic text that Google Fonts shows here:
https://fonts.google.com/?query=lora&selection.family=Lora:400i

It’s most evident when you look at the italic lowercase f and y.

How can I properly add the true italic and bold versions of Lora for use when needed with the site … in a way that won’t slow down the site.
