Hello – who are you asking this question to ?
in reply to: Image in EmailOne final question from me – Ive just had the notice that a new version is available to download. How do I update ?
The reason I ask such a question is that there is no update plugin option, the only way seems to be deactivate , delete and then install new version.
If I do that wont I lose my email settings for forms, and any settings etc ?
How do I update and keep everything ?
in reply to: password validate – how toI have submitted a review for this plugin.
It works as I wanted it to – thanks to the support from here – well done
in reply to: password validate – how toThis reply has been marked as private.in reply to: password validate – how toI found out that wordpress needs to have a plugin called wp easy smtp (200,000 downloads) – once I installed this plugin and switched the forms over to SMTP with the same settings it worked fine.
My hosting Co prefer people to use smtp with secure long passwords etc
All working fine now – although I could do with some assistance / explanation re conditional logic
Do you have any example forms I can see ?
I want to make one field appear on the form – only if they select an option , eg – if user selects ‘Yes’ then an additional date/time field appears
Is that possible ?
Thanks

I have another problem now –
Email settings – I was using PHP Mailer – but my hosting has advised against this and said SMTP option is better.
I have set the SMTP option – correctly, correct port (port 25),
correct mail server, username and password , I have tested the password is correct – using outlook mail. The form is completed and the form says ‘mail sent’ but no email arrives , even after 30 minutes. whereas if I use php mailer it comes after 5 minutes.
Any ideas what else to check ?
