OMG – thank you so much for that. I’d have never known how to fix that. You are a star! Happy Easter!!!
hello, thanks again for your feedback, very helpful. I’ve managed to use firebug and firefox’s dev tools to style the product content in a way i am happy with.
However, I notice there is a worse overall side-effect now when i have a custom page designed for my product pages, which is that by using a custom page created with the aid of your plugin it breaks some of the CSS and functionality of the content in the page’s header.
For example, this page uses my theme’s default page for product pages:
http://thepostermafia.com/product/mark-lanegan-band-limited-edition-concert-poster/…notice the dropdown menu under the logo that activates on hover; the fact the search toolbar lets you drop down to select categories; also the top right menu in the header has a flyout box.
In my product pages using my custom desgined page, all these features above are broken, like here: http://thepostermafia.com/product/paul-weller-concert-poster/
I think all my issues could be fixed if we could just make sure the custom page is using the same stylesheet from that which my theme wants to use. It’s like the custom product pages aren’t pulling through the complete or correct styling – is there a way to fix that just by making sure the custom pages really do use the same stylings as my theme’s defaul product page?
thank you!
Thanks for the tip!
The problem custom product page I can’t edit in the Front End of Visual Composer is the one listed above already:
backend: http://thepostermafia.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1827&action=edit
frontend: http://thepostermafia.com/wp-admin/post.php?vc_action=vc_inline&post_id=1827&post_type=page
Many thanks for fixing that issue with the share icons.. may i ask you how you worked out I needed the “summary” class? I’m vaguely familiar with the developer tool bar in firefox if that’s an easy to use tool to discover other class names; for instance the wishlist icon is wrong too, but i’d like to know how i’d look up the correct class to fix that one too.
The other issue i am suffering, is that i can’t successfully use the Visual Composer Front End Editor to edit a page WYSIWYG. The web page starts to load, goes all white, you can see some of the graphics from the site peeping through, but the VC icon just continuously does its loading animation thing to infinty and beyond 😉
many thanks again!!
This reply has been marked as private.unfortunately have this issue too, new purchase – but apart from this managed to get somewhere in the backend fine, its just when trying to edit the page in visual composer, which tbh was what i really hoped for with this plugin.
thanks!
(PM/email if would like to check site)
