I haven’t set it up yet, because I don’t know how!
So I have a custom post type called fishing packages. Lets say it has 5 packages called:
Package 1
Package 2
Package 3
Package 4
Package 5
On each individual post I want a link that links to a form called “Package enquiry”. On that for there should be a dropdown list with all 5 packages in it.
When you follow the link to the form on Package 4’s post, I want the “Package Enquiry” to auto magically select “Package 4” from the drop down list.
IE is there a way to pass to a form, the post id that linked to it?
I have a custom post type with a custom layout. On that layout I want a button that links to a DHVC form. On that form I want to have a dropdown list with all the different posts from the custom post type. I want the form to automatically select the post from the drop down menu that corresponds to the post that linked to this form.
I just want to know if that is possible?
Does that make it any clearer? (if not I can give an example)

Yes, but as i said in the OP the text field that I want to appear when a particular option in the select dropdown is chosen, does not have an area for conditional logic – only the select dropdown mention conditional logic.
I am using Woo Detail Product Page Builder to build a custom layout for the product.
I set the product to use the correct page, just like in the example you’ve just forwarded.
HOWEVER, if i use Quick edit from the All Products page and change something, i.e. the category that the product is in, the product forgets to use the product page I have created and reverts to the default woo commerce product page.
