I think this problem was due to missing javascript files. Please see my post for more details.

I’m pretty sure I found the problem. Your theme is missing some pretty critical files to make VC work.
See attached images. The JS error are looking for some file that should be in the theme asset/js folder and they are not there.
Please send us the files needed!!!
