The shop-DHVC page is the one I want to use for woocommerce. However the left sidebar has disappeared.
The filtering in my original shop (shop-original) does not work, so I tried building a new one using the tips you gave everybody in the forum.
steps I took:
1 – I made a copy to work in called shop-DHVC
2 – set Use DHVC WOO Override Woocommerce Product Archive / Shop Page Options.
3 – set the MAIN QUERY to fix the filtering of the widgets
4 – set use left sidebar, Woocommerce sidebar on the shop-DHVC page
result: main page stretches over entire screen and sidebar shows below the page
5 – install one of your archive-products.php in the [template]/dhvc-woocommmerce directory
result: main page is ok again, but the sidebar has disappeared
