I solved the side nav menu issue – you folks call it offcanvas in your CSS.

I still need to know how to change a:link, a:hover, a:visited CSS thoughout the site, or at least within posts.

while I truly appreciate your response – it doesn’t address what I asked:

“You can use this css.” (where do I use this to change the side nav menu????)

The bit about “Link hover navbar”: That only changes the sites full menu – not links in text, or the side menu????

Again, my questions are:
1. how to change the hover properties of links in copy throughout the site
2. how to change the background, colors, hover colors, etc of the side nav menu (that shows on mobile)
