Variation gallery not working or saving

Pretty disappointed with how buggy this theme is even after many updates. Variation gallery doesn’t seem to be working or saving.

Here is how to replicate
Create a product, add size and color variation, add a few images to each variation option. Click save, watch it not work.

Can provide credentials as well if needed
