Use a Product Template For All Products of a Specific Category

Hi,

I made 4 single product templates using this plugin, naw I’m looking for a way to automatically assign each template to every product of a certain category.

For example I want every product in the category “Books” to use the template “Template for Books” as the default template, and I want every product in the category “Tables” to use the template “Template for Tables” as the default template.

The only way I found to set a product template for a product is to manually chose the template on the “edit product” page. The problem with this is that I have more than 1000 products.

Is there a way to check which category a product has, and if there’s a certain category, than use a certain product template for that product?
