I recently did an update of a site, all the plugins etc. On the face of it, it seemed to be fairly smooth. However, after changes had been made on the page it just wouldn’t load and after a bit of testing I realised it was (at least partially) DHVC Woocommerce Products Layouts. What seems to have happened is that on update, the page template option had reset in the back end. So it still appeared fine on the main website until changes were made and this new template setting was saved.
The solution is obviously to just update the product template on updating the page, but I would like to know if there is a known reason for the initial reset and how to avoid it in future. Also, I’m not sure if this is possible, but is there a way to update all products to follow a template so that I can update en masse rather than individually?
