I’ve grouped my products according to Brand but I can’t make the Brand pages make much sense. See the attached examples.
The picture “Desired result” is the template page which I’ve based the Brand pages on. The strange page “Result” is what the ‘MyBrand’ page looks like. I would expect to be able to e.g.
1. Remove the inserted text “MyBrand” to the left in the image and the Tag cloud which I guess is inserted because my page has some sidebar which I’m not using. Not sure how to remove the sidebar though.
2. Change all text and images etc to fit the current brand
3. See the products for the current brand in the list of products (which is a shortcode so I guess this is a separate issue). It is currently showing the same as for the template page.
The image “No product” is the result when I had no product associated with ‘MyBrand’. But strangely, when I associated a test product with ‘MyBrand’, it instead showed the 8 products associated with the brand which the template page was built for.
4. Not have anything showing outside the “box” in the middle. I don’t understand why the inserted text and sidebar shows at the edge of the screen, when everything is built on my default template?
My questions might be a bit hidden in the text above, but basically, how do I customize my Brand pages?!
