Hi Support,
I’m having two issues that both appear to be theme based.
The first issue is that updating PHP from 7.4 to 8.0 causes a fatal error and crashes the site.
The second issue is that the Credit Card entry at checkout grays out and becomes unusable for users who have not made an account. This usually doesn’t happen immediately, but rather after certain fields have been updated. Refreshing the page will usually help the issue, but that’s not the sort of thing a normal user would do. I see in the console that it’s receiving a 403 error in response to ?wc-ajax=update_order_review
Error:
POST https://chocolate-emporium.com/?wc-ajax=update_order_review
Status 403
Version HTTP/2
Transferred 8.64 kB (13.80 kB size)
Referrer Policy strict-origin-when-cross-origin
DNS Resolution DNS over HTTPSAs best I can tell, both of these are caused by the theme, as switching to the WooCommerce default theme “Storefront” resolves both issues.
The site in question is https://chocolate-emporium.com/
The theme is up to date with version 1.2.3, which is the latest available on Theme Forest.
Thanks you for your assistance and I look forward to your response.
