How to update to new version of Visual Composer

Hi, I’m getting a notice that there is a new version out for Visual Composer. And sometimes the plugin update icon shows there is an update, but then it disappears.

If Visual Composer is embedded in WooW theme, how can I update the plugin? (I don’t even see a way to add my own license by buying one.)

I’m using a child theme. Does that make a difference?
