[Wendy] I am having some trouble uploading a theme demo onto wordpress
[Wendy] the theme has uploaded correctly however when it comes to getting the demo I keep getting this
[Jeremy S.] Are you receiving any errors?

[Wendy] the theme owner says the host must adjust space because demos includes alot of photos
[Wendy] i’m trying to find it for you give me a moment
[Jeremy S.] No worries, Wendy. Take your time.
[Wendy] When trying to install demo content, we’re receiving this error;

[Wendy] Dear, most likely, it cannot work with your localhost. You need increase your PHP max_execution_time (or any other webserver timeout to about 1200 secs) and memory_limit (about 512 M) temporarily. it is due to low server memory or execution time and your host should definitely be willing to adjust that, because the demo including lots of pictures.
After change hosting, please use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/ to reset your site and import again.

[Jeremy S.] I have set the Max execution time to 1200, it was at 300.
[Jeremy S.] I also bumped up the memory limit to be 1GB instead of 512M.

[Jeremy S.] Are you uploading the Demo Theme? Or are you doing something else?
[Wendy] ok first I tried uploading the theme onto wordpress and it said missing style css sheet
[Jeremy S.] Was there an exact error?
[Wendy] so then I did this where I only uploaded the wordpress file
[Wendy] A common issue that can occur when installing a WordPress themes is “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.” error message being displayed when uploading or activating the theme.

One of the reasons you may receive this error is if you have uploaded the incorrect file. You have 2 options for downloading your theme.

1. Installable WordPress file only. (below)

2. All files and documentation (full zip folder). You will need to extract and locate the installable WordPress file. (below)

[Wendy] so I did it that way by only uploading the wordpress file
[Wendy] but when I go to upload the demo I get this
[Wendy] Hi, I need help on installing my demo.

Whenever I try to install it, I get an “error occurred”.
[Wendy] so I contacted your support and also the theme creator support
[Jeremy S.] They told you to update that information? This does not seem like anything that would need to be changed on our end.
[Wendy] Your support uploaded the file to the home directory in cpanel but said there was no demo files so I am assuming he only uploaded the wordpress files and not all files? I don’t know. So now I have two luxury themes on there that won’t upload the demo files. The developer then sait ti could be I need more storage, so that’s when I found you. Now I need to do a fresh install, should I delete both luxury wordpress files that don’t appear to include the demo files or should I just try to upload another with all files and hope I don’t get thet error of missing css stylesheets

[Jeremy S.] How did we get the files in the first place?
[Wendy] ok I just tried installing it again on wordpress with all the files and this is what came up

[Wendy] your support asked me to upload it to home directory in cpanel and they would extract the file that’s how they got it
[Jeremy S.] It looks like the files you have are not complete. If I had to take a guess.
[Wendy] so what do I do now
[Jeremy S.] Are you able to download the files again from the Developer?
[Wendy] yes I’ve done so 4 times
[Jeremy S.] And this issue happens everytime?
[Wendy] yes

[Wendy] but only a couple of people have had this issue, the theme has 5 star rating all through
