Adsense in header

Hi,
can you please instruct me how to get Adsense ads to work in the header. When I insert code in Themes Options – Ads besides I can only see code (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

I’ve tried to insert same Adsense code into Header widget and ads won’t show.
