Adjust hover color in Topbar and Navbar

Hi,

I have been struggling with the configuration for the colors of the navigation menu. I tried to work with the standard setup in word press but that didn’t provided everything I needed. I read a couple of topics regarding the CSS updates for the menu bars but that did not work either so far.

The problem I have is:

I want to change the hover and active link color in the Topbar and Navbar (see attached screenshots). When I’m on a different page the hover color and active color is correct…

I’m not sure what I’m missing hiere.
