Adding class to product image a href?

Is there any way to add a class to the for the product image links as inserted by the Single Product Images vc element? By default they just link directly to the media files and won’t open in my theme’s lightbox. I just need to class the link, but there are no customization options in the VC element, other than the stock one to class the
