I’m getting the following error when I try to activate the plugin after installation:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted…

However – and please read this – my PHP memory is set to 256 mb already – see https://www.touringcars.net/view-php-info.php.

I also have a plugin monitoring WordPress’ PHP usage, which shows it to be around 76.38 MB of 256 MB prior to plugin installation.

I can’t get the plugin to work – please can you advise what to do.
