I was using 2.1.10 and the plugin was not showing some products even though I had added them manually rather then them be in a category.

I upgraded to 2.4.0 (and then 3.0.5) and the products came back but the formatting wasn’t the same and the grid mode only showed one product per grid (despite being set to 2 or 3) and the title was to the right of the image and not below as before.

Any help gratefully received.
